…and I’ve been meaning to post an insightful and well-considered blog about books like The Clan of The Cave Bear, Subterranean, Darwin’s Radio, and the classic novella Inconstant Moon, all of which have surely been sloshing around inside my brain for years.
No question Inconstant Moon was partly my inspiration for the original short story of Interrupt, and I read and re-read the “Earth’s Children” novels when I was a boy. Why my parents let me read Cave Bear and Valley of Horses when I was ten is another question. But I’ve been a busy little duck this week, like last week and the week before, working on a new novel (a new novel!), so my insightful and well-considered blog will have to wait another week-ish.
My assumption is you’d rather have been writing books than writing blogs, yes?
