Fun News From Germany

My short story “Die Austrocknun,” probably better known as “Pressure,” has been translated into German in an Austrian anthology series called Visionarium.

If you’re in the Fatherland, you can find it in print and on Kindle.  Or if you’re bilingual, it’s also in the U.S.   😉

Late As Usual But Having Fun!

I thought I’d use the same title for this post as I did for my last write-up about Nowa Fantastyka.  First, because I’m always late.  Second, because it is indeed great fun to work with this team.  The editor, Marcin Zwierzchowski, has become one of my overseas favorites.  Who else would put Jeff Carlson alongside Matt Damon?

Admittedly, Matt gets a little more space on the cover than Jeff.  That’s cool.

The October 2015 issue included their translation, into Polish, of my story Long Eyes.

Late As Usual But Having Fun!

Here is the seriously disturbing June 2015 cover of the sci fi magazine Nowa Fantaskya, a major publication in Poland, whose editor Marcin Zwierzchowski is an individual of taste and genius.  I love working with this team!!!!!  The 6/15 issue includes fiction by Le Guin and Paolo Bah-cha-gah-loop-ee.  (That’s my phonetic spelling; he’s better known to most people as Paolo Bacigalupi of WIND-UP GIRL and SHIPBREAKER fame).

I was excited to see my short story “Pressure” included in the line-up.  I should add that this issue arrived promptly in the mail.  The tardiness is mine alone.  My normal state of affairs is now up-to-my-ears.  😛

As for the clown, well, you wouldn’t want to meet that dude in a dark alley…
