New sci fi anthology !!!

Today I’m actually on time!  Amazing!

My short story “Pressure” leads off a new sci fi anthology called At The Helm, which is for sale on Kindle today.  Below is the snappy description.  Here is the space battle cover art.  🙂

Interstellar journeys. Epic battles. Artificial Intelligence’s longing for meaning. Life as we know it, ending…

Sci-Fi Bridge is thrilled to present its first collection from bestselling authors and newly emerging writers. These stories span the near and far future. They transport you to worlds unknown. They examine today’s fears amid tomorrow’s technologies. From the far corners of the galaxy to the inner reaches of the human heart, the exciting stories in At the Helm will thrill, inspire, and make you wonder–do humans have what it takes to build a better future? Or are we doomed by our own failings?

REAL-LIFE SUNFISH LANDING REPORTED IN KENTUCKY !!!

Music Festival

This week I received the greatest email in history from a fan.  A few weeks ago, he attended the Terrapin Hill Farms “Family Reunion” Musical Festival in central Kentucky.

The government obviously hushed up this whole affair because it would rock the world.  There would be rioting nationwide, and everyone on the planet would demand to know why Army and National Guard units were rolling through the streets.  Instead we have only this beautiful email:

I didn’t see it myself but I was told by a friend that he was in our camp circle and reading stuff from my Nook in “scary campfire style.”  At some point he got into Frozen Sky 2.

Again, I didn’t witness this personally, but I do know there was several people who were in our circle that night instead of sitting on the hill watching the music or dancing around the bonfire.  And I am sure that there was a fairly large amount of mushrooms present, not to mention whatever else people from other camps brought in.

He was about thirty pages into FS2 when some of them freaked out.  You caused several good folks to run for their lives fleeing into the woods.  Later, I personally heard someone announce over a loud speaker: “The sunfish are not real!  The sunfish are not real!”

LOL.  What a nightmare!

Having said that, the Terrapin Hill Farms host three amazing hippie music festivals.  I believe everybody should experience the one they have in September at least once in their lives.  Nowhere else can you collect 1000s of people and not have a single fight happen the whole time.

So there you have it.  If you’d like to be a part of the next alien invasion, you can find more about the festivals here and here.

Or of course you can go here…
