No Soup For You

Last week I didn’t post a new blog and this week I won’t post a new blog, and let me tell ya why: I’m sinking all my blog energy into guest appearances hither and yon. SF Signal will be hosting me again soon.  So will book blogger extraordinaire Susan Tunis at In One Eye And Out The Other.  All in al, a busy autumn so far for young Jeffrey!   🙂

Welcome back to THE FROZEN SKY

It’s an absolute pleasure to make this announcement.  Years after the original short story, I’ve returned to The Frozen Sky.  I’ll let the jacket copy speak for itself.  There is also a fun guest blog coming on genre portal SF Signal.

First, the eye-popping cover art by Jacob Charles Dietz!

Thank you to everyone who pushed me to write this novel or helped in its creation, a group which includes David Marusek, Allen Steele, Larry Niven, Matthew J. Harrington, Penny Hill, Ben Bowen, Michael Stein, Charles Hanson,  Ben “The Other Ben” Metzler, Jeff “The Other Jeff” Quiros, Jeff “The Real Jeff” Sierzenga, Ashley Sierzenga, and many others including my lovely and patient wife Diana.

Here is the back jacket copy.  I hope it makes your head explode…    ;P

“I’m hooked.” —Larry Niven
“A first-rate adventure.” —Allen Steele

BENEATH THE ICE

Something is alive inside Jupiter’s ice moon Europa.

surface, its walls carved with strange hieroglyphics.
Led by elite engineer Alexis Vonderach, a team of
scientists descends into the dark… where they
confront a savage race older than mankind…
